What the patent covers, and what it does not
U.S. Pat. 12,646,526 covers the Animal Call Comparison Tool. ASCE (Analytic Sound
Comparison Engine) is built on that tool. These parts of Translator Series are our own proprietary work and are
not patented: ASCE’s scoring weights; real-time coaching; 3-Dimensional Audio Mapping
(3DAM); the hunts and games; the avatars; and the ProGuides.
CLIEAIR™ (Civil Liberties Investigative Enforcement by AI Review) is
Translator Series’ civic legal-technology framework. The framework itself has been
deliberately published into the public record — continuously since 2024 under
#CLIEAIR, with clieair.com held since June 2023 — so that its ideas
remain free to every person, permanently, from everyone, including us.
The CLIEAIR™ name and mark identify Translator Series, Inc. as the source of
the framework and its forthcoming certification standard, based on continuous and exclusive use in
commerce. Federal registration filings are in process. Use of the CLIEAIR™ mark to identify a
product or service requires authorization; the framework’s ideas require none.
The products listed above are marked with “Pat.” together with a reference to this page in
satisfaction of 35 U.S.C. § 287(a).
