Translator Series uses browser localStorage and a small set of first-party cookies. We do not use third-party cookies, tracking pixels, or ad networks like Google Ads or Facebook. Our ad system runs on our own servers.
What We Store
| Category | What | Purpose | Can you opt out? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Auth session (JWT in localStorage) |
Keeps you logged in across pages | No — required for login |
| Analytics | Internal activity log (page views, listings created) | Understand feature usage; improve the platform | Yes — toggle in account settings (coming) |
| Advertising | Ad session ID; per-slot daily frequency counts | Enforce daily ad caps; measure aggregate CTR | Yes for personalization — you will still see ads, just untargeted |
| Third-party passthrough | None today — Translator Series is in no affiliate program, so no affiliate tag is added to any outbound link | — | — |
Browser Controls
You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser’s site settings. Clearing it will log you out and reset accessibility preferences.
Do Not Track
Because we do not operate third-party advertising networks, Do Not Track browser signals have no additional effect — we already do not share your data for cross-site tracking.
